Hey Everyone - some exciting news to report...We have been selected out of over 2,600 bands to be one of the 10 finalists for KROQ's Big Break For Local Band's contest. They've been playing "Terra Firma" on the air, and the winning band gets to open at KROQ's Inland Invasion Concert for Guns N' Roses, Muse, Alice In Chains and more. Just wanted to say congratulation on the KROQ's head nod. It's a big deal you made it into the top entries. Be proud. You'll win on a whole other level one day. Just wait for it. It's coming. KROQ's clout is giving you awesome exposure and that's always a good thing.
Also, I love the new name. Nice! "Huge" was good but "VLA" rolls right off my tongue.
Saw you once upon a time at the Cinespace for an event (or should I say anti-event?)and I loved it. That was a great night of music. Do more of those too.
Compliment: You are a guaranteed download or purchase without even hearing the tunes first. That's always been the case. Fans can always count on a quality song from VLA.
Little critique: Tour more. As in, more than L.A. and N.Y. Spread the VLA love.
